Whether you are a kid or just a kid at heart, there really is no better way than to end your meal with a big bowl of ice cream. Have you ever stopped and thought to yourself how will lemon taste on chocolate ice cream or can we mix oil with our ice cream? You would have probably dismissed this as ridiculous ideas but there are people out there who actually gave this ice cream topping experiment a shot. 1. Vanilla Ice Cream
- Mixed with lemon curd & blueberries
- Peach preserves & fresh peaches
- Fresh buttered popcorn (this one is gluten free too!)
- Raspberries & Balsamic vinegar
- Plums cooked in a little brown sugar
- Malted milk powder
- Caramel & pretzels
- Kellogg’s cornflakes
- Cayenne pepper with salt

2. Chocolate Ice Cream
- Shredded coconut
- Almond slices
- Hot sauce (balances the sweet & spicy!)
- Vanilla pretzels
- Olive oil
- Potato chips & chocolate sauce
- Halved strawberries slightly cooked in butter ,bit of brown sugar & balsamic vinegar
- Cayenne pepper & cinnamon
- Roasted pineapple with black pepper
Vanilla & chocolate ice creams are generally the most preferred by people. While some of the combinations listed might sound weird, they are actually tried and tested yummy combinations.
If you have not developed a taste for coconut ice cream, give it a shot with mixing up some crystallised ginger. Adding a bit of salted caramel & toasted coconut would also be a great idea if you are looking around to mix things up a bit.
Adding cookie dough to your bowl of strawberry ice cream with some hot fudge is sure to get you drooling over your ice cream bowl.
Mixing olive oil, sea salt & ice cream might not sound great, it sounds gross. But there is a lot of room for experimentation when it comes to the type of sea salt & the brand of olive oil you are using.
Everyone loves cheese and ice cream, but very few have actually thought of combining their love for the both. But you have got to trust us on this one; cheese goes great with both vanilla & strawberry ice cream.
